On lots of forums, there's a thing called chains. They're everlasting topics that have a sort of 'link' between posts. Now, this one, 'This or that?' doesn't really have any link idea to it, it's just fun to do.

The rules are simple. One person asks a question in this form:

ex. 'TG1 or TG2?'

Then, the next person answers which they would prefer, which they like better, etc.

After that, in the same post, they ask another question in the same form.

You can ask any type of question you like, as long as it's appropriate for the forums.

I'll start:

Hamburgers or cheeseburgers?

Regular: Coke
Diet: Pepsi
Lemon: Pepsi
Vanilla: Pepsi
Lime: Coke

By the way, hamburgers originated in Hamburg. Nothing to do with ham.

Do I get to/have to answer both/all the previous questions, or just the most recent? I'll err on the side of caution and do both. Cheesy

First, hamburger/cheeseburger. Well, I'm with Tony here, they're awfully close, but I'll generally go with a cheeseburger if its available. On the other hand I don't go out of my way (like buy cheese very often, lol) to get one, so... make of that what you will I guess. :_p

I definitely prefer Coke by along shot. Coke has this kind of hard edge to it that I like. Pepsi seems to sweet and "soft" somehow. I don't like any of the flavored varieties either - cherry, etc. Vanilla coke is ok though.

I don't use Blender *or* Wings 3D, but given the choice between the two, since texturing, lighting, etc. and ultimately rendering are more interesting to me than modeling, Blender definitely wins there. Plus Blender seems to be under more active development, and it interacts closer with TG (soon to be even better).

Now for the million dollar question: BMW or Mercedes? Cheesy

Definitely BMW. Maybe it would've been Mercedes a few years ago, but once BMW started manufacturing those new Minis…

And no, just the previous question.

Tea, definitely. I drink tea a lot more than coffee. However I do like the occasional "fruity coffee drink", a mocha for example (iced in the summer).

Let's see what happens when we get a bit more general. Cheesy  Tall or short?

Odd choices, since they both do rather different things and can really complement each other. It's difficult for me too because out of all the major 3D apps I like C4D the best, so I'd normally pick that, but I use Photoshop *way* more, so I'm gonna have to say Photoshop. :_p

I can't believe you even asked. Anyone who's ever used a Mac knows the Microsoft sucks. They look better too.

As someone who is also "anyone", I just have to put in my 2 cents, firmly on the opposite side from Nuku: PC all the way baby. Cheesy And in contrast I don't think Apple sucks, I just prefer PC. Wink I could go on all day about why, but I'll save you the reading. :_p

I prefer desktops overall. I've always bought desktops, and probably will always spend money on a desktop before a laptop. I consider a laptop a toy, an accessory, or an add-on rather than my main system. But I'd definitely like a laptop at some point - it'd help a lot with my work doing house calls in particular.

It depends. I don't like overuse of smilies, like some people do (ex. Cheesy:D:D:_con::_p:_p:_p:_p:_p:_p:_p:_p), but a few is usually neccessary.Smiley
