Dear Community and Friends,

I am deeply sorry that I have not been with you of late and for my absence running the AMFI contest; whilst I would not normally post information of a personal nature there is no choice that I have in doing so in this case!

Nine weeks or so ago, I slipped on a tiled floor at home (The reason for doing so escapes my to this day, and is rather upsetting to think about) when I tried to stand (On two separate tries) I found that I couldn't, been alone in the house at that time meet that I had to call a nearby relative for help, they arrived and an ambulance was called.

An X-Ray of my Right Ankle reviled a major fracture that would require me to have surgery then following morning, this would be at another Hospital not far away.

To cut a long story short I have ended up with a plate and six screws, the rest of the time I have spent away was at a specialist health care center waiting for the fracture to heal (Which it has) and regaining movement and so-forth back again this included relearning to walk on both feet again.

I still need some treatment and this will go on for some time yet, this is to get total flexibility back, or at least as much as I'm ever going to get at any rate.

I am vary deeply sorry I have not been with you of late.

Regards to you.

those tiles are bloody dangerous when there is water on them, but good to see you back.

Sorry to hear of your mishap so far after the fact. I would like to recommend comfrey tea, one cup per night before bed, as an excellent method of not only speeding the healing but also adding strength to the injured area. I recently recommended this to a pal of 35 yrs of age who had multiple fractures in his right ankle from snowboarding and after 2 weeks of the tea whilst still in the cast his Dr. did an x-ray and told him he was healing like a 14 yr old...says something strong about comfrey don't it...Anyhow use it or not I wish you a speedy return to strong ankles.. ...
