Well at least your into a project that No One else is doing. That's one reason I might trash the MKII, oh another Viper..
After I do some more stuff on the sandspeeder I may go back to the podracer. Maybe I'll modify the sandspeeder engines to adapt to the podracer, I like them a bit more then the ones from the firefly.

So I needed to get away from smoke sculpting  and had another go at Topmod. Here's the result. It's a bit frustrating to use as I discovered that some faces are hard to select for whatever reason and when you end up selecting the wrong face while in sculpting mode the thing just likes to crash.

Ogre, did you ever get a chance to play with it? I still have no idea how to map faces to materials.
